In this prelab, we will focus on the characteristics of AC waveform.
In contrast with Direct Current (DC) circuit, Alternating Current (AC) circuit has wide applications in electronics and power network. A sinusoidal waveform has output voltage changing with time in either sine function or cosine function. The characteristics used to describe a AC waveform are period, frequency, peak-peak value, rms value.
The following video introduces these concepts.
