This prelab introduced the principle of Wheatstone bridge circuit.
The bridge circuit is a simple and elegant circuit to measure unknown resistance change which can link to different types of sensors, such as temperature, strain, or flow. The schematic of a wheatstone bridge is nothing more than two simple series-parallel arrangements of resistances connected between a voltage supply terminal and ground.
The following video explains the working principle of bridge circuit.
