Argument

As the demand for virtual reality rises, places such as hospitals could provide virtual training for surgery, but can this really be trusted rather than just observing the real thing?

-In an experiment composed of 32 students (16 were proctored, 16 worked independently), it was shown that those who watched the actual procedure were more likely to be successful, rather than those who watched a virtual simulation on the real thing. Regardless, it is safe to say that this can lead to distractions or misuse of virtual reality, and can also be seen as an inadequate substitute for training procedures.
