Lyric Expression
Description
We were tasked to create a 10-page expression on lyrics using typography, fonts, and type variations. The 10th page was tasked to be a design that can be made into a printing technique. In this project I chose the song “Holding Out for a Hero” by Jennifer Saunders.
Mental Health Type Primer
Description
The task of this project was to choose a global issue and create a 12-page type primer with the word of the said issue. The pages were ranged from type variations, to elements, and the anatomy of the letter form. The global issue I chose was Mental Health and I kept in mind how I wanted the said issue to be depicted, so I paid attention to the fonts used.
Posters for a Fake exhibition
Description
We were tasked to create 6 posters but use our final 3 choices representing our designer we chose, as well as representing the designer’s style for a fictional exhibition. In my case being Tomoko Miho, I grabbed inspiration from her works and added my own twist to them like using triangles instead of circles like the original artwork for poster 1. Poster 2 had my drawing of a bridge and poster 3 was having her name merge with a pair of hands.
Presentation on Tomoko Miho
Description
This project was a part 2 to the designer’s poster, as we were also tasked to create a presentation on our said designer on adobe illustrator (not google slides). I grabbed inspiration from Tomoko Miho’s Collab with Herman Millers “Lounge seating” to create the background of the presentation.
