B&O Project

This poster was created to attract music lovers to want them to listen to the best sounding speaker created by B&O. With the headline “Beyond an Immersive Experience” I am trying to let the people know that by listening, nothing compares to its amazing quality in sound. I made it look like it was a galaxy because very few people can ever go into space, and if they ever did they would consider that experience very immersive.

Background
Bang and Olufsen is a Danish high-end consumer electronics company that specializes in audio products, television sets and telephones. It was founded in 1925. Early on Bang and Olufsen opened a business in 1925, they had numerous successful developments in the 1930s and 40s including a sound recording system for the film industry, but when they refused to work with the Germans the firm was burnt down. They then rebuilt the factory and made razors. In 1990 Bang & Olufsen started to open stores and get back into making audio products directly to consumers instead of selling through retailers.

Online presence

Bang and Olufsen has a very modern look and feel to the current generation of people. 

Its themes and designs are very sleek and very aesthetic to the eye. 

If you check out Bang and Olufsen’s socials you’ll notice that the things that they post are very modern looking. The images are curated with attention grabbing colors as well as with attractive visuals.

Competitors
B&O has many competitors, including JBL, Sonos and Logitech.
JBL is an American company that manufactures audio hardware such as loudspeakers and headphones which are affordable to the majority of people.
Sonos and American manufacturer of audio products, has worked with larger companies such as Amazon, Apple, Google and has partnered with big music services such as Pandora, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
Logitech is a Swiss manufacturer of computer peripherals and software which also develops and markets personal peripherals for pc navigation, Bluetooth speakers, headphones, keyboards, mice and more.

Target audience
This product is targeted to people who enjoy the aesthetically pleasing sight of a speaker or some headphones. Also for people who have a couple thousand dollars laying around. In many of their official ads to showcase products they show the room in which these products are placed in.
