My name is Diana L. Young. My design goal is to be a graphic designer and venture into User Experience design. The dream would be to be able to work for artists, designers, filmmakers, and other like-minded people but also be able to bounce into work that is geared to make a difference, like public policy or services. I’m taking the class because it is one of the building blocks towards this goal.

Work that inspires me are beautiful cookbooks, architectural magazines, RadioLab. Accessible design and art inspire me.

Preferred design process pen/pencil to paper, sometimes starting with a doodle to warm up or something silly. Could be a dog dancing in high heels.

Projects I would be interested in collaborating on at the moment designing logos and/or websites. Learning how to interview people. Anything really.
