The Color Theory is the color mixing and the visual effect that a specific color combination. The perception of color is adjusted to counterpart an accurate integration. The variation of colors bring out the centered image. Some focus more than the other.

In Digital Media Primer: 3rd edition, Chapters 1 through 2 introduce us to the foundational concepts and basic techniques of digital media production. Digital media is varied digitize content ranging from text, audio, video, images and graphics that can transmit from any computer or Internet/networks. From analog to digital data, digital media has surface as a dependent source of the essential living in the 21st century. Digital Media has revolutionized the ways of how news, entertainment and electronic devices and given a more effective result.
For example, Digital media has revolutionized the ways of News. Back in the day news had a singular and particular source which it used to spread to audiences across the world. News was distributed through the sources of radio, television,magazines, newspapers, etc. It would often take news longer to spread in masses over the world. Digital media has become a prime tool for communication. With the birth of the Internet, computers became more essential to the way of living. With the Internet, news has become more and more accessible and has made communication better throughout the world allowing news to move more quickly and more efficiently. It has given an opening door for journalists and bloggers to reach out to people and giving them mainstream news with pieces of personal opinions. Digital media has also birthed online interactions giving an a opinionated environment where they can be read through blogs or social media thus making News travel faster. During World War II, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology started a project on a digital based computer called the Whirlwind. The Whirlwind was the first computer that fully operated and function, worked in real-time and had screen for visual representation. Working in real-time had a huge advantage that revolutionized the way the Internet provided for digital news. The newspaper were not able to compete with the digital news . Digital news provided with the latest updates that are immediately placed online, various articles that grant a better understanding and contain a variety of points of view. This revolutionized and changed the power of newspaper sources and disrupted their way of money because they were no longer the only source to get news from. This influenced more sources to come out on the internet. But some sources on the internet were unreliable. Personal opinions, amateur journalism, and biased articles are found on the Internet. Blogs are a creative and open minded form of digital media. They gave customers a sense of more opinionated articles and told from a related perspective make the customers feel more homey in contrast to a more biased and centralized idea coming from news.The internet provide users with news and also allowed users to write their own perspective on news which was revolutionary. The internet allowed customers to read news article that solely interested them and did not have to pay for it. In contrast to buying a full newspaper with many articles that won’t read and having to pay for it. According to the State of the News Media report, 75% of people are not willing to pay for online news content. They are more likely to go back to searching for free results. The report also states that 23% of people said that they would pay five dollars a month for unrestricted access to a local newspaper online. But doubling the price a month drops the number by 5%.
Another example, digital media has revolutionized entertainment. Entertainment is usually seen on tv, radio, magazines whether music and movies. With the Internet music and movies have had its share of ups and down. With the transition of cassette tapes/ CDs or VHS/DVD to digital media had its benefits and its disadvantages but overall digital media impacted and changed entertainment forever. The Internet has different streaming services such as Spotify, Soundcloud, TIDAL, Apple Music, etc. that allow you to listen or legally obtain music of your preference by paying for it online. Although you may not have a physical copy of an album or song, with a digital copy you can stream it on your phone, computer or any compatible electronic device, etc. Movies on the other hand no longer have to be bought or rented from a local blockbuster but now can be streamed by services like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube , etc. Digital media has also benefited music by helping artist exploit their music on the Internet allowing them share their music worldwide and grow a larger fan base. A disadvantage of digital media on the fields of music and movies is piracy. Illegal downloading of content that has not been paid for is a big obstacles that digital media presented as the Internet grew. Digital media has also helped the field of social media such as Facebook and Instagram and has allowed communication to advance.Digital media changed and revolutionized the entertainment industry forever. Internet plays a vital role in entertainment. Websites now are made to advertise the show, celebrity biographies, interviews, photo galleries, blogs, etc. In the end the entertainment industry benefits from the Internet and digital media.
A last example, digital media has revolutionized electronic devices. Over the recent years the use of internet on mobile devices have steadily been rising. Mobile devices have a huge contribution to the growth of digital media. Mobile devices are used to search information on the weather, addresses, traffic, store hours, etc. People are also using their phone check their emails, facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. Digital media have given a bigger purpose for the use of mobile devices. A recent survey with Pew Internet and American Life Project states that 47% of Americans get a form of news from their mobile device. The use of mobile device are doubling by the months.
