  • Administer IV medication and transfusion of blood and blood products according to facility protocol.
  • Provide pt education to pt’s and family in accordance with plan of care and assessment.
  • Assist with bedside procedures: PICC line, Central line insertion, cardioversion
  • Set up and monitor PPN, TPN and PEG feeding
  • Admit and continued assessment of pt’s on continuous telemetry monitoring.
  • Phlebotomy, IV insertion and completion of EKG’s.
  • When the need arises float to PACU, ICU/CCU and Med-surg units.
  • Provide care for Post-op Nero and Surgical Step-down patient.
  • Float to Endoscopy and Ambulatory surgery when required and assist with procedures.
