Each week, students are expected to engage in 150 minutes of asynchronous (self-directed) or synchronous (real-time) learning. Within this tab, there are online resources to learn about specific topics related to the role of medical metrics for evaluation, applied research as well as quality control in the healthcare setting.
Students are expected to read through the websites and view the videos. From these activities, you should be able to define terms, provide examples, and describe strategic planning approaches in evaluating health services/systems.
The instructional websites and videos are grouped under:
- Module 1: Week 1 through Week 3
- Module 2: Week 4 through Week 5
- Module 3: Week 6 through Week 10
- Module 4: Week 11 through Week 12
- Module 5: Week 13 through Week 15
Note: PowerPoints used during synchronous and asynchronous lectures are available on Brightspace.
