“Bringing Back the Disco Party”-Dramatic Sleeves and a belt to achieve a waistline brings back the looks of the 60s and up. This exact look shows a disco party from the blue and silver lighting to the Afros. This garment is bringing back decades of fashion while modernizing it and bring more sophistication. The gown showcased the late 60s with the sparkly jumpsuits and high waist belt and the Afro which is a significant look from the 60’s dating back to Diana Ross, Whitney Houston or even Teena Marie.
“Shooting star”-This Fall Winter Collection created by Michael Costello brings power to the runway. The height of the shoulder and the draping of the fabric flowing towards the back of the model creates a cape. This garment can be portrayed as a Cinderella look or strength because of the model’s posture and the fit of the gown. The background of the fashion shows lighting brings out the white cloth which creates a galaxy finish. It seems like the gown is being shown as a shooting star and the blue and silver lighting is the sky.“Power of the Fringe”-The fashion in this garment is beautiful with all the finishing used and the big flower on top of the shoulder. This garment has lots of sex appeal because it dates back to the age of the flappers with the bold red lipstick and semi nudity. The fringe is used on the shoulders, arms and crotch while the ruffles is on the hips to create fullness to the model.
