This video was made by Ms. Buolamwini, an African-American computer scientist. She made this video to address the gender and more importantly the racial biases among facial recognition software created by tech companies. In the video from 0:25 to 0:35, Ms, Buolamwini and her light skin friend gave a demonstration with a facial recognition software to prove what she was saying. She called it algorithmic bias.
