According to this article, Microsoft has claimed that they have improved the ability of their facial recognition technology to recognize people with “dark skin up to 20 times.” But it is not enough. Their previously flawed or their still flawed technology has already been introduced and utilized in law enforcement agencies and criminal justice systems, which is morally corrupt. The article also addressed how the facial recognition technology was never flawed but was biasedly taught to recognize who looked like their creator [white men] .
