Case #1:
25 yr old female, non-smoker, generally in good health, came into the clinic stating she had not been to a dentist for a check-up or had a cleaning in over 10 yrs. Patient presented with heavy subgingival and supragingival calculus. She had Type III Perio with generalized 5-6 mm pockets with severe bleeding upon probing. Her gingiva was erythematous, flaccid, with severe generalized inflammation. Upon taking a full mouth x-rays, there was radiographic calculus and generalized horizontal bone loss noted.
