In my 4 years at City Tech as a Entertainment Technology student, I have learned how to be an electrician, an Lighting Designer assistant, an Video Camera operator, and an Non-linear Video Editor. I would like to take the skills I have learned and use it to get a job after graduating. I would like to one day do the lighting designs for different concerts. I would also like to film and my edit my own and other short films. I’ve done a lot of things related to lighting but not many things related to video that is why for my culmination project I want to act as the editor for Yarie Vasquez short film.
Acting as the editor for “ Makyla “ production will allow me to learn more about pacing, rhythm, and color correction. Those things might be my biggest challenges but practicing will allow me to become a better editor.
