GLOBAL SOURCING & INTERNATIONAL TRADE POLICY (WI)
The course provides an economic analysis of textile products, production, and global sourcing with a specific focus on the apparel industry in the United States. Students will gain an understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in textile production and the global sourcing strategies employed by the US apparel industry. The course also explores the economic factors that affect the pricing and sales of textile products, as well as the impact of global sourcing on the US apparel industry. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the economic drivers of the textile and apparel industries, including the dynamics of global supply chains.
