As my mother use to say “if there is a will there is a way” and in the Human Service field you have to have that attitude to please the people who need your help. There are many different kinds of attitudes,cultures and needs; my goal is to be able to work with all of these people and things so I can be more empathetic. As a human service worker I want to be able to adapt to my surroundings and not have a mental block on anyone that comes my way.When I retire from work I want the people around me to say that I was person who really cared about our community and its needs.
