Internship
In July 2012 to August 2012, as part of my scholarship commitment I had the to opportunity to intern at the Kings County Medical Center, dental department. It was six (6)weeks of vigorous training and learning in such a high and fast-paced facility. I met with the director and committed staff of dental residents, dentist, specialists, oral surgeons, interns, dental assistant and office staff. I was under the care of the dental hygienist who acted as my mentor. I learnt and I saw many interesting cases. The patient care and volume that sought treatment was unbelievable. This experience was positively rewarding and I look forward to my career as a dental hygienist.
