Chemistry Department offers two degrees:
- Associate (AS) degree in Chemical Technology
- Bachelor in Science (BS) degree in Applied Chemistry

An associate degree in chemistry prepares students for jobs such as research technicians and laboratory assistants. A bachelor’s degree leads to roles such as chemist, engineer, chief technician, consultant or education.
With these degrees you will have options for employment and further study, such as:
-Transfer to a professional school (Medical School, PA School, Pharmacy School,
Dental School…)
-Graduate schools (Master or PhD)
-Find a job in various areas: chemical and pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, forensics, environmental testing, lab work in government and academic institutions……
