Humans have been researching and trying to solve the issues concerning getting to Mars for about fifty years. There are many issues that need to be resolved before we can begin our travel. Some of these issues deal are providing the astronauts with a capable enough space craft that can lift off from Earth carrying all astronauts as well as equipment, providing the astronauts with protection from the radiation in space as well as the spacecraft and also maintaining the health of the astronauts while they are travelling this long journey of eight or more months. Many private businesses have also ventured in to this goal of getting to Mars which has increased the amount of work that is being done to solve these issues however it still seems like a long way before humans can step foot on Mars. The efforts of the company known as Space X which is a private company has created a goal for themselves as well as a prediction stating that they will be able to put humans on Mars by 2026. According to NASA however, the leading experts on all things space, they will not be able to get humans on Mars until 2040’s. Some major issues for NASA’s delayed trip are mostly financial because funding such a big trip would require a lot more than they currently have budgeted. As most research have shown humans can possibly land on Mars in the 2030’s.
