To complete my task as being the lighting designer I will first need to establish what fixtures are available for use since it is a church and if we are able to obtain anything through rentals. Once that is done I will be given their house light plot in which I will begin drafting the space in vectorworks and start placing the fixtures on the light plot for the show. My channel hookup, and instrument schedule will be created using lightwright in connection with vectorworks. For help with programming I will be creating magic sheets using microsoft word and my cue breakdown will be done in microsoft excel.
I was able to create a video promotion for this dance production using my personal video equipment. I basically chose specific segments from the show to record and used my sister and her husband to help with recording. I used final cut pro x for video editing.
