During my time at City Tech I have learned more on how to operate the grandMA and ETC Ion consoles and my goal for when I graduate is to either be a lighting designer or board op with a future goal of owning my own lighting company for shows. For my culmination project I will be the lighting designer and board operator for a church dance production.
Being a lighting designer will help me in regards to knowing what fixtures need to be used to achieve certain desired looks. This will also help me with creating light plots, instrument schedule and channel hookups when it comes to productions.
I also let them know that I could create a video promotion for them since they had not planned on having one.
