During second semester, I worked with a group of students to research a topic relevant to dental hygiene practice. We focused on celiac disease and its oral implications. After gathering information from multiple sources, we organized our information onto a large trifold board, created a brochure, and presented our topic to the rest of the class, as well as during a school-wide health fair.
