My favorite CUNY perk

At first, I didn’t even know that there were perks to being a CUNY student. Though, even if I know now, I’m still a little clueless on what some of those perks are. Personally, I just like the discounts, mainly the transit one. Basically I’m given an unlimited metro card so that I don’t have to waste a whole lot of money on just train/bus fair. I’m sure there are better perks, but this one is more appealing to me since all I really worry about is money problems, and this solves one of them.

Figure ground vs Music notes

Can figure ground be compared to notes and rests in music? Well, yes, it can. This is because the notes themselves are similar to figure ground: they stand out compared to what’s in the background. The notes on a music sheet are black dots and lines with the background being white. The notes themselves stand out so much that you focus only on the notes, and the way that they are organized.
