A human services grad does community organization and outreach, counseling, advocacy, and case management with populations in need. Graduates work in not-for-profit agencies and hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, schools, courts, community-based, mental, public health centers and the human resources field. There is a high demand for human services professionals.

We offer the first baccalaureate program in paralegal studies at any public college in New York State, to meet the ever-increasing need for a highly trained workforce to support law firms and the legal system. Many grads continue to law school. The bachelor’s degree program is the only one in New York City with ABA accreditation.
