Coming into this company which had mostly a marketing team and only one Designer, I didn’t know what  to expect. At first it was hard because the first week I was the only designer (The Lead designer was on Vacation that week), I was submitting all the projects in time, but the VP was used to getting them completed much faster and I also struggled a little with the brands guidelines. Thankfully these are problems I faced only in the first few weeks and it got much easier as it went on.  For my final evaluation the Lead Designer told me that I understood the brands aesthetics and improved my time management skills significantly over time. I agreed and realized my biggest mistake at first was that I took my time  instead of submitting my work  faster to get more feedback.

They gave me  a variety of projects to work on that required skills in Print Design, Product Design, UI Design, and etc. I  even got the opportunity to work on some big projects for the companies re-branding. Overall, I think I did excellent work at Webcollage . This experience encourages me to go the route of a Visual or UI Designer possibly in the E-Commerce industry thanks to the mentorship of the lead designer and rest of the co-workers who were all great and made me feel like I was a part of their team.
