Open new InDesign doc

NO automatic text box

1 columns NO GUTTERS

Create columns and rows

InDesign>Layout > Create Guides

5 columns NO gutter

5 rows NO gutter

STEP 1  Create a 1 point outline for your composition

Use your text tool to create a new text box

Fill with “dummy” text

Select all Font: Helvetica size: 10 lead: 12

Copy and paste so that you have 5 text boxes Then > vary the amount of text in each box

Create alignments

Save as a jpg

STEP 2  Repeat step 1

Create different alignments

Save as a jpg

STEP 3  Repeat step 1

Alter your font, size and lead of each text box to create different “densities”

Create alignments

Repeat until you have 3 different compositions

Save each composition as a jpg

STEP 4  You should have a total of 5 compositions

Post on Miro
