Course Syllabus: Introductory Anthropology

Course Description: The course provides a broad introduction to the four fields of anthropology, examining how anthropologists analyze the cultural and physical aspects of humanity. It explores various societies and the methodologies employed by anthropologists in their studies. Encompassing subjects such as economic systems, population dynamics, kinship, political systems, religion, art, medicine, globalization, power relations, and ethics, the course delves into cross-cultural ethnographic data from regions including Africa, Meso-America, Australia, and Asia.
