Primary triad – Theoretically, all other colors can be mixed from it. It is composed of red, yellow, and blue, which are equidistant from each other on the color wheel.

The three primary colors on the triad wheel which consists of red, yellow and blue.

 

 

Secondary Triad – The Secondary Triad colors are already mixed and will produce less intense colors when blended together.

A color made by mixing two primary colors together.

 

Tertiary Hues – The resulting color formed when an equal amount of a primary and a secondary color are mixed.

 

CMYK – The CMYK color model (process color, four color) is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself. CMYK refers to the four inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black). https://en.wikipedia.org

 

RGB – The RGB color model is an additive color model in which red, green and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors. The name of the model comes from the initials of the three additive primary colors, red, green, and blue.

Tonal Progression – Tonal progression is a succession of color mixtures proceeding from dark to light. In addition to value change, tonal progressions also vary in hue and chromatic intensity. www.theryderstudio.com
