The mode of instruction is in-person lecture and lab, we will be meeting all scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays (or Saturdays). As a 3/4 lab class, be prepared to work in class during all our meetings.
For the first class, prepare a short presentation, six images minimum, about your work your and your interest, in Miro it should include:
- Name and last name
- A recent picture of you
- Your interests/hobbies
- ARCH1231 Building Tech I
- Module 1: ordering plan, plan, section, and elevation
- Module 2: plan detail, wall section, axon detail
- Module 3: timber framing, or group urban design project
- 3 Design drawings and images from 1 project minimum
Software tools the class will be using include:

- Miro [https://miro.com]
You are encouraged to set up accounts and or download these software applications prior to class.
You will be required to keep your work updated on both a hard drive or flash drive AND on the cloud (Drop Box or OneDrive or similar).
