Article Review- Human Resource Management

The Disney Resource Management course examines the role of the human resources functions and professional as a strategic partner in managing organizations. We was able to participate in groups which lead us to get the concept of certain issues that take place in organizations dealing with employees rights, safety and health, and establishing performance management. We discussed the various functions that are needed for any company which if it’s either small or big to be successful. We got to learn about current theories, laws, and practices that allowed us to discuss and apply what we are learning to our experiences in the workplace. We covered many topics that deals with staffing, training and development, ethics, legal context, maintenance, and social media. I now have a better understanding of the role Human Resource Management plays in any organization, which is how they attempt and balance the needs of the company and the employees, while maintaining an open, diverse environment.
