Here are some things to keep in mind when writing summaries of articles and essays.
Monthly Archives: September 2013
Just a reminder about our QUIZ tomorrow, which…
…will be a review of the grammar we’ve been going over in class.
See Rules of Thumb:
- pages 3-12
- pages 20-25
- pages 28-37
- page 50 (can/ could, would/ will)
- page 54 (the whole section on Verb Agreement)
And take a look at the vocabulary words we’ve spoken about in class, too.
Let me know if you have any questions, and see you in class! (We’ll start the quiz first thing, so be on time.)

Make sure to PRINT OUT and BRING to class:
Sante’s “My Lost City” and the TWO New York Times articles (which you can find in “Readings”).
Also, you should bring your Reading Questions for “My Lost City” with you–unless you handed them in to me today (in which case, I will bring them for you).
See you Wednesday!
