My name is Kent Lam and I am a Graphic Arts Production student at the CUNY New York City College of Technology.
I have been interested in graphic design since I was introduce to Photoshop in high school. I admire the fact that people can use images and graphics to express how a person feels or represents.
The name of the blog Black Layers Design was derived from my initials K and L. In the Graphic Design field K is recognized for black and as for L, graphic designer normally associate it with layers, hence the name Black Layers.
