With my experiences in the Dental Field, I gained many new skills and became more knowledgeable about oral health and oral hygiene. Working in this field means talking and meeting new people everyday, which is a bit tough for an introvert like me. However, I’m trying everyday to be more open to become a better healthcare provider and it has been going well!

- Expose diagnostic digital radiographs for adults using Dexis software
- Prepare and assist in procedures such as Invisalign, basic/major restorations, implant surgery, etc.
- Scan 3D images of patients’ oral cavity using Itero

- Manage patient flow with two providers, approximately 20-25 patients per day
- Expose diagnostic digital radiographs for adults and children using Dentrix software
- Prepare and assist in procedures such as composite/amalgam restorations, endodontic therapy & pulpotomy, post and core build up, simple/surgical extractions, etc.
- Take alginate impressions and pour study models
- Assist in dental and periodontal charting
- Effectively sterilize and organize instruments
- Monitor inventory and restock dental materials
- Manage appointment book, verify patient’s insurance eligibility and submit claims/pre-authorizations
