Participating in community service events made me realize not everyone has proper access to dental care and its importance to do good and give back. While working with kids, patience and proper communication is a must!

Organized and planned an oral health education program on proper toothbrushing and its importance to kindergarteners
Family Head Start
Location: 293 Neptune Avenue
Educated kindergartners on importance of oral hygiene care and proper brushing technique via show-tell-do method
Location: 3017 Glenwood Road
Performed dental screenings and applied fluoride varnish on children ages 3-4. Referrals were given if any suspicious carious lesions were found.
