After 5 years of experience working in apparel design at Nike, Afiya left thecompany to pursue other opportunities. During that time, Afiya partnered with other brands such as Reebok and LuLuLemon for capsule collections. Afiya serves as the Merchandise Manager for the company. Now Afiya oversees all visual creative elements of Homie including planning and merchandise allocation for all Homie stores.
Director of Aid For the Homeless program
Olivia M. Elias Escalante is HoMie’s Aid For the Homeless program Director. Olivia has exceptional account management, production, sales, and public relations experience as she worked as a freelance publicist for KCD Worldwide and PR Consulting where she handled accounts like KHAITE, American Dream (third largest mall in America), FENTY, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen and others. As a director Olivia handles events, makes sure all donations are properly distributed to the people, creates professional relationships with organizations, partners and consumers who also volunteer for the Aid For the Homeless program.
E-commerce Specialist
Danielle Hueston is HoMie’s E-commerce Specialist. She is responsible for understanding customer needs and developing online sale strategies. Hueston is currently a senior at New York City College of Technology, in Brooklyn, NY. Her major is Business and Technology of Fashion. Having a love for fashion since a young girl makes working for HoMie is one of her proudest accomplishments.
Creative Director
Crystal Llerena manages all design aspects for the various collections at HoMie. Crystal has previously worked for different brands as part of a creative team for over 5 years. She has her bachelors degree from the New York City College of Technology in Business and technology of fashion. She also obtain a certificate for color art and design for fashion at F.I.T. Her background has helped her to have a position as creative director at HoMie.
