Fluorosis (Histology and Embryology) – overview of causes, types of systemic fluorosis, methods of prevention and treatment.

Enamel Pearl (Histology and Embryology) – overview of histology and etiology of enamel pearl formation, as well as possible treatment for condition. Enamel pearl may be confused with tenacious calculus and cause instrument breakage.

Smoking Cessation (Electronic Cigarettes) – overview of the electronic cigarette prevalence in the United States.  Mostly teenagers and young adults are using electronic cigarettes. Some of them not considered it to be harmful as regular cigarettes. Some people consider e-cigarettes as   the way to help quit smoking. There are lack of research about influence of the e-cigarettes on general and oral health. Sweeteners usually added to electronic cigarettes may increase the  risk of caries formation.

Coconut oil as a Novel Approach to Managing Radiation-Induced Xerostomia (a Primary Feasibility  Study) – Research article review. Coconut oil was introduced as a new way of treatment of radiation-induced xerostomia in hospital facilities. It anecdotally famous remedy for xerostomia.  The research showed some positive results of coconut oil effectiveness although more studies should be done to make a conclusion.

Burkitts Lymphoma of the Jaw (Oral Pathology) – overview of the histology, etiology and embryology of Burkitts Lypmphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system). It is associated with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and malaria. It is extremely aggressive and one of the most fast-growing malignancies. It is fatal without proper treatment.

Tooth Brushing for College Students (Public Health) – project developed for education of proper toothbrushing routine and toothbrushing method for college students as one of the way of enhancing oral health and oral diseases prevention.
