Upon successful completion of this course the student shall be able to: | To evaluate the students’ achievement of the learning objectives, the professor will do the following: |
1. Lifelong learning
KNOWLEDE – Show curiosity and the desire to learn. Acquire tools for lifelong learning – how to learn, how they learn, knowledge of resources. |
1. Assess students’ oral and written report on their site analysis to determine understanding of local issues and their effect in the overall design. |
2. Inquiry / Analysis
SKILLS – Derive meaning from experience, as well as gather information from observation |
2. Assess students’ design development through weekly pin-ups. |
3. Information Literacies
INTEGRATION – Gather, interpret, evaluate, and apply information discerningly from a variety of sources. |
3. Assess students’ final presentation to evaluate how previous research, precedent studies and reading played a part in the development of the final design. |
