I am a well rounded student and direct product of New York City College of Technology’s nursing program which follows Watson’s nursing theory of caring. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York I have always been accustomed to living among different people from various walks of life. Interacting with people from different cultures has given me the opportunity to absorb information about customs, beliefs and respecting others differences. I have learned to not take a judgmental approach to other people’s health decisions but explore how values can be incorporated into the plan of care. All of these factors have played a large role in the way I have learned and developed as a Registered Nurse.
