Reflection:
The purpose of this discussion board is to discuss a gamification technology that we see ourselves using in the classroom. I chose the gamification technology Kahoot because students can easily access it through a mobile device or computer. The Kahoot platform sparks engagement and motivation with a pinch of competition that allows more participation to occur. I only understood the essential use of Kahoot, so through this research, I learned many other functions that can be extremely useful. For example, a Kahoot with the option of having a deadline is great for assigning as homework and also host team challenges for collaborative work.
