Reflection:
The purpose of this discussion board is to assess the benefits and drawbacks of different types of technology to communicate with parents. Throughout this research, I was very hesitant to see any advantages of using technology to contact parents. We are so used to seeing the basics like letters going home or phone calls being made that I never was motivated to use technology to contact parents other than an email. However, through this discussion board, there are great ways of communicating parents using technology, and it has made me look more into using it in the future. Of course, there will be drawbacks, but again, organizing how you use it and having a better understanding will helpful.
