Project 1 – Spreadsheet Data Analysis
Reflection:
This project’s purpose was to conduct a data analysis of an assessment we would give in our classrooms. This spreadsheet allows us to see and interpret student results and make the connection of how effectively we teach. During my internship course, I remember vaguely doing this type of analysis but not fully understand it till now. It is very beneficial in helping teachers organize student data, see why a question was not successful, or review any material that needs review again, So students have a better understanding when answering questions. Although there can be a few drawbacks, like generalizing data, it can result in adverse effects that provide the wrong analysis. Yet, this is a great tool to use to reflect on pedagogical skills and record data.
