As a senior in the hospitality management department we all have encountered numerous classes that require our time and dedication. Research seminar Is a huge addition to one of those class. One if you do not understand the time it takes to put into this class don’t take it until you can fully devote your time. Although a large amount of time is needed to complete this class don’t be discouraged from doing anything else with your time, management is all that’s needed to complete this, plus what you already have on ypur plate. As well use the professor as a resource his time is there for you to discuss and paint a picture for the direction you should be going. Lastly is research skill. If you are able to find a topic and really did deep into major information to help support your topic you are playing the right game. Now its time for me to take my own advice. Thanks

To often I hear this same method take place when it’s time for children to eat. When I was growing up I never new what a McDonald’s or Burger King was until I was about 10. I did have the experience of eating at ethnic restaurants and the occasional sandwich from the corner store, but the supermarket was my favorite place to visit when it came to food. When children think of food most of the time they never think to say lets cook some hamburgers at home or bake some BBQ chicken. Its an automatic store run. It is perceived also buy the parents to be easier, with the growth of parents having no time but more economic stability to purchase food, not from a grocery store but from a burger spot to replenish themselves. We need to make a consistent effort to reeducate the parents to start to educate the children to a better balance in how we sustain our energy.
Why i picked my topic?
As a child the need to be in the kitchen was sparked buy my mom, grandma, and father. Although it was not encouraged to pursue a career in culinary it came into existence for me anyway. I believe that if we take the steps to foster a love for cooking in our children who knows where the passion can take them. I would like to carry out a program that will help to develop these skills on a more professional level and just possibly create a personal love for food.
