Hi, my name is Amberly Lima and I started my third year at City Tech. I’m more or less a mix media artist as I don’t really specialize in one area as some of my peers do and because of that I’m also not proficient in artistic/digital media skills as everyone else. I chose this major because I want to work in the gaming/animation industry and possibly create my own video game series. I enjoy drawing and creating stories so growing up I learned that video games and animations are simply combinations of art and story and I wanted to be a part of that.
Other than drawing, I enjoy reading and have been recently been reading graphic novels and webcomics, I also enjoy playing video games in my spare time. I don’t always draw as I often don’t have enough time to do so simply because of life and responsibilities and I would like to draw more, create more. Hopefully I get to do that this semester.
