  The Bar Room which opened about a year ago is creating a name for itself in the Upper East Side.  When I first walked into this bar which was reffered to me by someone who just got the job there , I felt as if I went back in time to when Prohibition was over in the city and the Bars were finally open. It has an old school feel to it, with fine dining all in the mix, not to mention a delicious bar menu and creative entrees for dinner. The bar room is a great find, especially in the business district of the Upper East Side. If you ever go, sit and the bar and ask for Alex the bartender, one of the best I know in the hospitality business.
