I have learned and accomplished a great deal in my 6 years of practicing as a nurse one of my proudest moments to date occurred while I was working as a staff nurse at Goldwater Hospital. In this capacity, I was responsible for new patients’ admission assessment, Administration of PO, GT and IVPB meds, Care of Ventilator patients, close and open suctioning, administration of TPN, NGT and GT feeding. On one occasion, I demonstrated my inter- personal skill of effective communication and empathy to calm down a patient who has been very combative and uncooperative with other staff and would not listen to anybody.
