Baccalaureate program is an eye opener for me to know and learned about other aspect of nursing apart from bedside nursing. Through community nursing as a course, I realized that I can work as a community nurse, promoting community health and diseases prevention through primary prevention program. I know the different between Public and community health nursing and what their functions are and how I can be my patient and community advocate.. I also know through my case management class that I can work as a case manager to make sure my patients get the resources they need at the right time and cost effective. And my leadership class equipped me on how to be a good nurse leader. Professional nursing exposed me to various past, present and future issues in nursing. Overall, my experience has been great and I am happy to be one BSN candidate.
