Founded in 2016, Unity For Equality was established in response to the significant challenges faced by New York City’s rapidly growing diverse communities. These communities encounter numerous barriers to accessing social services, achieving social justice, and participating in economic life, and Unity For Equality is committed to breaking down these obstacles through its comprehensive and inclusive programs.
At the heart of our mission is ensuring healthcare access for all. We believe that everyone deserves quality healthcare, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our efforts also extend to supporting our seniors, helping them thrive in a society that often overlooks their needs.
Recognizing the importance of education and job readiness, we offer language and computer education to prepare community members for the workforce. Additionally, our legal clinic provides crucial information on immigration, helping individuals navigate the complexities of the system with confidence.
Our commitment to the community includes providing meals to those in need, ensuring no one goes hungry. We also focus on developing youth leadership, equipping the next generation with the skills and opportunities to become effective leaders and advocates for change.
