My name is Angel Brens. I am 22 years old. I am a student at New York City College of Technology (CUNY) majoring in Graphic Arts. Since my time at New York City College of Technology I’ve learned a lot about the field of Graphic Design and an insight into the world of print production. I’ve also learned about using programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. These programs have helped me create a strong layout and improve my typography skills.
My first graphic design job was with CASA|NY, I interned with them for about 5 months where I helped create a tour brochure, design a map for tourist, created original designs true to their brand style that inspired excitement for the clients and consumers, designed and created website content, and learned the art of cooperation by working with others.
I have a passion for good design and typography, my goals are to specialize in the fields of logo design, web design, print design and branding with marketing promotions for small businesses such as logos, websites, brochures, letterhead, business cards and more. I would also like to learn more about print advertising graphics with branding, packaging and collateral.
