 To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to recommend Afolasade Adeniyi for your facility as a Registered Nurse. I got to know Afolasade while she participated in an Urban Health clinical placement during the Fall semester of 2014.   She cared for mentally ill patients in a residential facility.

She presents herself professionally dressed to the clinical environment on required days. She was punctual and always ready to assist residents with their health issues.  She is hard working, intelligent, and collaborated with facility staff/ teacher when needed. She is polite and assumed responsibility for the care of residents.  She is kind, patient and observant.

I observed her initiate conversation and interact with some very challenging mentally ill residents. She was able to conduct herself professionally while providing emotional and moral support to residents.  I found that she was able to grow in her ability to understand and manage resident behavior. She acknowledged her challenges during this clinical period and accepted constructive input to improve her skills.  She was also able to advocate for residents when necessary.

I do recommend her for the RN position as I know she is competent in integrating her professional skills to your patient population. If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
