For Tuesday’s homework, please read Melville’s “Bartleby, The Scrivener.” Go to “Readings” and scroll down to the bottom. Please print out the story, read it carefully, take notes, and write Journal 1: Describe each of the characters in a paragraph and then write a paragraph in which you draw parallels between Bartleby’s world of 1853 and the business world of today (< 300 words). Please use the Journal Template–also in “Readings.”
